Monochrome work continues to be enjoyed by members and this group aims to encourage members to produce monochrome work and improve their monochrome skills
There is no requirement to show work but if a member wishes to do up to six monochrome images are requested. The group always enjoys a constructive discussion about the work shown, encouraging and praising where due, perhaps making suggestions for changes but always in a positive and friendly way.
The work seen is very varied in subject matter and always interesting. Techniques used for making the initial image are considered, the conversion to monochrome if appropriate and, of course, the most important element the subject of the photograph. Members are welcome to join the meetings to see what the group does and hopefully feel encouraged to try mono work and to share it with the group. is open to all club members and meets online every other month on a Tuesday evening as shown in the programme.
