Photography For All
Rushcliffe Photographic Society will be hosting a PHOTOGRAPHY FOR ALL community and fundraising event in support of The Friary Drop-In Centre and the Nottinghamshire Leukaemia Appeal.
The event, which will take place on Saturday 6th June at St. Luke’s Church Hall, Leahurst Road, West Bridgford NG2 6GL, is open to all and during the day will include an exhibition of photographs by members of the Society, demonstrations of studio lighting, print and card sales, and our ‘photography surgery’ where budding photographers can come along and learn more about what their cameras can do and how to take better photographs.
You’ll be able to pre-book onto one or more of our workshops with the focus on friends and family photography with a point-and-shoot camera, and we’ll be offering guidance on using smart phones for taking and editing photographs. This page will be updated shortly with further details.
There will be an opportunity to use the Society’s studio lighting and perhaps have your own portraits taken, and members of the Society will be on hand to help you with your own photography.
In the evening there will be a fundraising dinner with a welcoming drink, raffles with prizes, musical accompaniment from a barbershop quartet and short presentations from The Friary and from Nottinghamshire Leukaemia Appeal.
More details about the event will be available shortly, but to reserve your place for dinner, or for more information on the PHOTOGRAPHY FOR ALL event, please contact us by using the Enquiry Form or call Andrew Wainwright on 07887 731425.
