The Video Group was reformed this year with a new focus on the creation and sharing of club members' videos and to see what level of interest and topics members would be interested in getting involved with.
The video group encourages members to explore, learn and produce videos to foster collaboration, creativity, developing, sharing and publication. Looking at techniques, tools and methods to help share content and develop Videos and AVs for input into competitions (such as N&EMPF)
The Group has looked at several applications that help people develop the creation of Videos and AVs as well as the techniques used in creation. Technical evenings and online zoom meetings, we had several members try out apps such as Power Director, Clip Champ, DaVinici Resolve, iMovie and InShot. We looked at the methods to help share videos using your own YouTube channel and enjoyed watching several videos.
Our special guest, Stuart Abbott, joined to show us how easy making Videos & AVs are using a mobile phones and with some super quick follow ups done on trains after a day’s shooting.
