Rushcliffe Photographic Society is looking forward to its forthcoming exhibition at West Bridgford Library which will run from Tuesday September 12th to Thursday October 5th. This is the fourth exhibition that the Society has staged at the Library and the event is now a firm fixture in the Society’s calendar.
We are pleased to welcome the Lord Mayor of Rushcliffe, Councillor Leslie (Barrie) Cooper to our opening evening on September 12th which runs from 7pm to 9pm. This will also be the Society’s inaugural meeting of the 2017/18 season, with subsequent weekly meetings taking place at the Parish Rooms, Burnside Grove, Tollerton.
The Society welcomes photography enthusiasts (18+) across the full range of ability from complete novices to more experienced picture takers. We aim to help one another to get more out of our photography by developing practical photographic skills and techniques with our cameras and in the digital darkroom, through workshops, practical sessions, critique evenings, competitions, lectures and meeting and discussing photography with like-minded individuals. If you’re interested in joining us, why not come along to our exhibition or one of our Tuesday evening club nights.
